Join Google Meet from Slides, Docs and Sheets

A new update was launched this April allowing users to launch a Google Meet within Slides, Docs, and Sheets. I’m excited about this new update as it will allow me to collaborate and communicate via Google Meet without leaving the applications.
Why is this update useful?
This update would be helpful if I needed to start or join a Google Meet while continuing to view my Document. The need to have multiple Windows or tabs open would be eliminated. I could also switch over from Docs to Slides by selecting “Bring the Meet Over” which would allow me to seamlessly access various Docs without leaving my Meet.
Please note, you are not automatically presenting your screen. You do need to share a link to the document in the Meet chat. Google has provided quick access to “Share the link”.

Have you used this new Google Meet feature? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips or tricks you may have to offer.
